Nodus Fall Weaver

Weaver is the player. Not a faction, not a companion, not a boss. HoYoverse’s world page says players step into a world where divine authority has crumbled “taking on the role of a ‘Weaver.’” IGN’s trailer summary says the same: you take on the role of a Weaver and use divine power to conquer mythical beasts.

What a Weaver does

Three verbs keep repeating across official copy. Forge bonds with powerful companions. Stand against earth-shattering foes. Seize whatever divinity remains. Gematsu’s summary of the announcement strings all three together and ends on restoring order to the world.

The combat consequence is on the homepage: you reap divine power from enemies to unlock Divine Skills that are yours alone, then turn that power back on them. So a Weaver isn’t a chosen hero with an inherited kit. The pitch is that you build the kit off corpses.

Why “Weaver”

The site’s lore text talks about creation’s essence weaving the sun, moon, stars, and the laws of all realms — then an unknown calamity tainting the threads of order. Weaver sits inside that metaphor. The homepage headline “Face Mighty Foes, Reweave the Miracle” is the same idea in marketing form.

Whether that’s literal in-fiction terminology or a job title given to your character, HoYoverse hasn’t spelled out. Several world panels on the official site were still marked Locked when it launched, including one called Primordial Myth.

Are there Weaver classes?

Not announced by name. Beebom came away from the trailer describing a class-based system where each character has different abilities. Noisy Pixel reported players can pick different Styles and Skill combinations per encounter. Official copy says you can switch roles and loadouts at will.

Put together, that reads like one flexible Weaver rather than a locked roster of named heroes — but nobody has shown a character-select screen, so treat “class” as press shorthand. The widerNodus Fall notes and the gameplay breakdown keep those two apart.

Can one Weaver go alone?

Unclear. Every official sentence about Weavers is plural or mentions allies — team up, fight side by side, forge bonds. GameSpot described Weavers as heroes who must band together. Solo play was never ruled in or out. More on that inNodus Fall multiplayer.
