Nodus Fall Trailer

Two minutes at Opening Night Live, titled “Wield Divinity, Sever the Dreadnodus.” A dragon, a phoenix, a titan with its head on fire, and four people hitting something the size of a building.

The Nodus Fall trailer opened Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026. Game8 logged the title card: “Wield Divinity, Sever the Dreadnodus.” IGN’s posting calls it a world premiere reveal and sums the premise as a Weaver using divine power to conquer mythical beasts in a world “beset by chaos and haunted by ancient hatreds.”

What’s on screen

Kotaku ran the closest shot list: a dragon, a phoenix, a giant titan with its head on fire, a heavily built figure hammering an anvil, wolves, and environments framed to make the player look tiny. Flashy sword combat. Several players ganging up on one enormous target. Kotaku also flagged a moment of climbing onto the back of the thing you’re fighting.

GameSpot described the same footage as Weavers banding together against “mythic beings” in a world where divine authority has crumbled. That matches the copy onNodus Fall’s official site almost word for word, so the trailer and the marketing are telling one story rather than two.

What the trailer skips

No platform card. No date card. No beta sign-up window. No UI, no menus, no skill bar, no HUD long enough to read. Polygon noted that HoYoverse shared nothing else during the show — no release date, no anticipated test date.

Which means everything people “learned” about builds and progression came from the official site’s four slogans, not from the video. Those are broken down ongameplay.

About that title

“Sever the Dreadnodus” is the only place the word appears with any weight, and Game8 pointed out that HoYoverse never explained it. Polygon rendered a related line as Weavers using divine power to “sunder the dread Nodus.” Whether that’s a creature, a species, or a knot in the world isstill open.

Where to watch it

The reveal is mirrored on IGN’s trailer pages and on HoYoverse’s own channels, linked from the Gamescom news post dated 26 August 2026. If a second trailer lands with platforms or a window attached, that’s the one worth re-watching frame by frame.
