Nodus Game

After the Gamescom trailer, a lot of people just searched “nodus game.” They mean Nodusfall — Nodus Fall on IGN and Polygon — not a different product.

Last updated 26 August 2026

The official site spells it Nodusfall. IGN’s database and Polygon’s Opening Night Live piece spell it Nodus Fall. Same trailer, same Weavers, same “Wield Divinity, Sever the Dreadnodus” line. If you landed on “nodus game,” you’re looking for Nodus Fall.

HoYoverse did not put out a second game under the one-word fragment. “Nodus” is just the part people remember from the logo after a two-minute reveal.

Nodusfall, Nodus Fall, Nodus

miHoYo / HoYoverse announcements use the closed compound. Western databases split it. That’s normal for a new IP in week one — see every other Gamescom surprise that spent a month bouncing between two spellings. Both point at nodusfall.hoyoverse.com.

What you will not find is a different studio, a mobile-only spin-off, or an older “Nodus” PC title hiding in this reveal. The August 2026 drop is the whole trail.

The Genshin line in every headline

Almost every write-up introduces it as “from the Genshin Impact maker.” Fair, as publisher context. Official copy still calls Nodusfall a new co-op action game, not a sequel, not a region, not a combat clone of Genshin on paper. The trailer look is closer to dark fantasy hunts than to Mondstadt.

So what is it?

Co-op action. Realistic fantasy, mixed mythologies. Unreal Engine 5, according to Gematsu and Noisy Pixel. You play a Weaver, group up on huge corrupted legends, and rip divinity off them for skills that are supposed to be yours alone. No platforms on the announcement slide. No ship date either.

Combat notes are on gameplay. The Dreadnodus / Dreadnodi wording is unpacked here. The full pile of what’s public sits on theNodus Fall page.
